Division II:
Division II Women's Soccer completed its first season as a nine-team conference and is set to see expansion again in 2024. Joining as the 10th team in the conference is Northwest Iowa as the school makes its introduction to NJCAA sports.
Northeast defended its regional championship for the fourth straight season competing against Iowa Central and Hawkeye last season. Both teams challenged Northeast but just fell short in 2023. Meanwhile the Hawks have now extended their streak of winning the region and district and then competing at the National Tournament.
Iowa Lakes and NIACC rounded out the top five teams in 2023, finishing fourth and fifth in conference standings respectively. Iowa Lakes is expected to challenge the top three in 2024, while NIACC will likely remain in the top five.
Northwest Iowa, Southeastern, Western Iowa Tech, Scott, and Marshalltown fill up the rest of the standings for Division II. All but Northwest Iowa will qualify for the postseason this year -- the Thunder are ineligible in the first year of NJCAA competition.
